Ohh No😭😭! Shameless HIV Postive Man Rapes~Defiles 4 Year Old Girl, Sentenced For Life Imprisonment

A 37-year-old man named Mr. Chiemela Victor Ekeke has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a magistrate court in Umuahia, Nigeria for raping a 4-year-old girl. The court found him guilty of infant defilement, which is a serious offense.

However, the court acquitted him of the first count, which was conspiracy. The second defendant was also discharged and acquitted as there was no evidence linking him to the crime or any common intention to commit it.

The prosecuting counsel, Okezuonu Obioma, expressed satisfaction with the court's decision, stating that it aligns with the legal position on defilement of a minor.

During the trial, Mr. Chiemela Victor Ekeke admitted to having sexual intercourse with the minor but pleaded for leniency. He also disclosed that he is HIV-positive. He claimed that the doctors who informed him of his HIV status assured him that the virus in his system was not severe and had been eliminated.

This case highlights the seriousness of child defilement and the legal consequences it carries. It serves as a reminder that the rights and protection of minors must be upheld, and perpetrators will face severe punishment under the law.

In other news, Hon. Hussein Kyanjo, a former Member of Parliament for Makindye West, has today morning sadly passed away at Kibuli Hospital after a prolonged struggle with colon cancer. Hon. Kyanjo had a remarkable political career, serving as a Member of Parliament for two terms, from 2006 to 2011 and then from 2011 to 2016. He had made a commitment to only serve for two terms and return to his private businesses, a promise he fulfilled.

Born in 1960 in Ntuuma, Bukomansimbi District, Hon. Hussein Kyanjo was the son of Hajji Siliman Zirabamuzaale Jakana and Mariam Nabuuma. He was recognized as a vocal and influential legislator during his time in the 8th and 9th Parliament. Within Parliament, he served in the capacity of a shadow Minister responsible for the presidency and was also a member of the defense committee.

Prior to his passing, Hon. Kyanjo had been battling stage four colon cancer for an extended period. Additionally, he had previously been diagnosed with Dystonia, a condition that affected his ability to speak. As a result, he relied on a speech aid to facilitate communication due to his impaired speech.

The passing of Hon. Hussein Kyanjo is a significant loss to the political landscape of Uganda. His dedication to public service and his determination to uphold his commitments exemplify the qualities of a noble leader. His struggle with illness also sheds light on the importance of healthcare and support systems for individuals facing similar challenges.
